One of the reasons I love photography is that you can
apply it to so many interests. One of these is animals,
both wild and tame.
In between my social and commercial photography I take
the time to add to my personal stock of wildlife images.
These are then made available to leading image libraries.
Every pet owner loves to have great images of their
pet. Like young children they can change so quickly
it important to have some professional photographs to
cherish your memories of their time with you. Many pet
owners however struggle to take the quality of pictures
that they would like. Photographing pets can be very
challenging and is best put in the hands of a professional
who has the skills, experience and equipment to make
the most of any pet.
The saying goes "Never work with animals and kids".
Well I love working with both. The trick is to spend
enough time to allow the subjects to relax. I allow
them to accept me before I even get the camera out of
the bag. Photographing in the subjects own environment
can often help them relax.
