Weir Photography
is an award winning husband and wife team based from our Òran Studio & home in Alloa,
near Stirling, Central Scotland. During the past 5 years, portrait photography has
become a major part of our photography business with several family
portraits sessions every week.
Portrait photography captures a person or a small group at play and in
a variety of casual poses. Portrait sessions can be taken at our Òran
Studio in Sauchie, your home or at a location of your choice, such as
a park, favourite walk etc.
Many family portraits are taken to commemorate special occasions, such
as anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas or engagements. As such you may
require the images to be available in number of formats such as framed
images, canvases, prints for extended family and digital files for email
and the web. We can provide your prints in almost any format in addition
to them digitally on CD.
At our studio, your home or other location we can discuss your requirements
and the style that suites you. If you have children, they can get comfortable
with the surroundings.
Whether you’re sitting takes place in our studio, your own home or on
location, you can b e sure of beautiful and timeless images. Our relaxed,
informal and attentive style helps to capture the feelings and expressions
of you and your family.
Some portrait photographers entice you with special offers and then charge
you a small fortune for individual prints, when you come and view your
images. Our pricing is simple and transparent so there are no hidden surprises,
only happy clients who keep coming back. We charge an affordable sitting
fee and provide all high resolution digital photographs on CD. You can
then either arrange for your own prints or take advantage of our own professional
framing & printing services.
During the session we will take many pictures, stopping to review them
together along the way. This helps ensure we are getting the style and
results you are looking for before you leave, safe in the knowledge you
will have them on CD.
